Seatbelt Simulator

Fareham Under 17 Driving Club now has this Simulator, a 7 metre trailer with a car seat.

The purpose of this simulator is to demonstrate the importance of always wearing a seatbelt.

A student sits on the car seat with the seatbelt on, the seat is released, slides down the trailer coming to a sudden stop at just 5 mph.  Seatbelt locks, holding the student safely in the car seat.

• The student is then told to imagine what it would be like at 30, 50 or even 70mph.
• Minimum Height: 1.4m
